Tucked away in a busy area known as New Kingston, Quad Nightclub provides an authentic experience for the average tourist looking to emerge themselves into reggae/dancehall culture. The club features three floors: a bar/lounge, a dancehall floor and a more alternative floor. Locals visit this club quite regularly and while it can't quite seem to keep the same management for longer than a year, the reputation that has built up over the years will keep this club up and running. As an alternative to the Quad nightclub, Fiction lounge provides a more calm experience and is preferred by what Jamaican’s would refer to as “uptown”. Depending on the DJ, reggae/dancehall music does not play quite as much as it would in Quad, but will instead mix popular American songs. Carry a lot of money to this club as regular fiction activities include “getting wasted” and therefore “buying bottles”. ________________________________________________________________________________________

Outdoor sessions will provide a great contrast from the indoor club vibe that many non-Caribbean people have never experienced. Outdoor sessions are not regular activities that take place every day of the week and instead are planned for certain days ahead of times. The major plus is that majority of the better outdoor sessions are all-inclusive – yes… that means food and drinks are included. While the price to enter the venue may be much pricier than the clubs it is well worth it. The warm climate of Jamaica and the spacious venues will ensure that you are comfortable while having an exceptional experience.
